JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip has been released. Candidates can view and download it from the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination for Paper 1 will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, while Paper 2 is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2026.
MAH BCA CET 2026 registration is currently underway. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
MAH CET 2026 registrations have begun for postgraduate education programmes. Candidates can apply online for MAH-M.P.Ed. and MAH-M.Ed. until January 20, 2026, through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH-M.P.Ed. CET is scheduled to be conducted on March 24, 2026, followed by an offline field test on March 25, 2026, while the MAH-M.Ed. CET will be held on March 25, 2026.

College Infrastructure
K.J Somaiya College of Engineering and IT is good overall. There are computer labs for all the different subjects, 3-4 labs are working all the time. Sports activities like volleyball, cricket, football are held quarterly; ground for each sport is present. Along with the football court, there is one small turf as well. Furthermore, the college also has hygienic classrooms and canteen. Along with the engineering building, there reside two more buildings on the campus: Hospital and Physiotherapy College.
Academics
I'm pursuing BE, that is, Bachelor of Engineering in IT. I chose this degree because Information Technology has a lot of scopes and is interesting as well. Teachers help make the process of growth easier by consistently keeping us busy with webinars, seminars, and providing internship opportunities.
Placements
Training and placement in-charge are very cooperative. Almost all the students got a chance to kick start their career with a job right after their UG. Salaries were not a lot; it ranged between 4-10 LPA. The teacher-in-charge always encouraged us to apply for an interview and made it easy by taking mock interviews and group discussions beforehand.
Campus Life
It is a part of the 85-acre Somaiya Ayurvihar campus. Participation like sports, dancing, debate, extempore, drama are available with regularly conducted events and there is a specially engaged robotics cell for interested students. Teachers are helpful most of the time.
I'd say joining this well-renowned college would be value-for-money to conclude my review.

Department of Information Technology mostly focusing on project based learning which means a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge. Recently I have worked on Such 2-3 projects from different domains like Internet Of Things , Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning. Out of all these the most interesting one was a project on Internet Of Things, in which me and my teammates developed a smart home automation system. Such projects help us to get more innovative ideas and motivates us to do more such projects improving my overall profile. All of these projects were successful because of the proper guidance from our faculty members. Internship programs are conducted where multiple companies give their live projects to us.We work in a mixed team of juniors and seniors. It's a very handy experience. Also there are various lectures from industry experts which helps us to know the real scenario in the industry. Many projects competitions are also held in our campus. These competitions prove a great practical experience to work in pressure situations.The projects allotted to us help us to inspect and traverse diverse range of topics which we tend to grasp, further broadening our scope of horizon. As per industrial standards we were guided thoroughly so that we get used to meeting deadlines. Overall these things surely help us to get ready for the corporate environment.
Our Hod supports us a lot for executing such various innovative projects. Department of Information Technology provides such platforms and opportunities to explore our potentials and gives us fair idea about the current industrial requirements/demands.
